When Textron Aviation was showing the mockup of the Citation Ascend mid-sized business jet at last year’s NBAA-BACE, it promised to bring a flying Ascend to the 2025 NBAA-BACE show and it delivered on its promise. While not yet certified, there is an anxious buyer base for the 12-pax aircraft that sits right between the company’s Citation CJ4 Gen3 and Citation Latitude jets in the product line.
