A Halifax, Nova Scotia, pilot has taken flight tracking art—and airmanship—to a new level with his support of Canada’s only Major League Baseball team. Dmitri Neonakis drafted a flight plan that trumpeted support for the Toronto Blue Jays’ bid for a World Series before the Jays defeated the L.A. Dodgers 11-4 in the opening game on Friday. The cursive tribute was not repeated on Saturday and neither was the Jays’ success. The series heads to L.A. following the Dodgers’ 5-1 win in Toronto on Game 2.
Neonakis is a serial flight tracker artist and has done more than 30 of the intricate flight plans, mostly in support of good causes or as a tribute to people or organizations that have touched him. He’s a big Jays fan. “I wanted to cheer on the Blue Jays, I wanted to cheer the fans, I wanted to do it for myself,” he told The Canadian Press.

Dodgers on six!
What plane and autopilot did he use?
Sorry Raf, Jays in seven!
Part of the committment of being a Diamondbacks supporter is a lifelong pledge to destroy the Dodgers whenever possible. Boycott their classic Dodger Dogs, downplay their great weather – whatever it takes.
Therefore, I find myself rooting for the Blue Jays in that ‘other’ league…but as a lifelong fan of baseball, don’t be wasting any baseball games – always play all seven in the series!
So Blue Jays in seven, Raf, keep the tissues handy!
After 18 innings, the score …what was it again?
I hear Toronto is beautiful this time of year…leaves changing, beautiful weather and Blue Jays still flying!
