Rod Hightower: A sunset break for flight of six Stearmans to initiate a dynamic tail chase at Malden, Missouri.

There’s no more challenging photo platform than an open cockpit, but Rod Hightower managed to use all the wires and braces to his advantage to frame this overhead break of a formation of Stearmans perfectly. Looks like a lot of fun.

Anton Verholst: At the Sterling, Massachusetts, Town Fair—held on the Sterling airport (3B3).
John Olafson: Bell 212 of Yellowhead Helicopters was one of many brought into the Okanagan Valley to battle many wildfires during a very challenging fire season. They did a great job in spite of poor visibility, strong winds, and high temperatures.
Patrick Hoyt: Pietenpol flying into the sunset.
Paul Price: Flying the Hound. Just having a fun flight with grandson Eli and his dog Teddy, cruising eastern Virginia.
