Medevac Crash Kills Four

Four people are dead following the crash and fire of a Beech 300 being used for a medevac flight. The aircraft went down near Chinle, Arizona, in the Navajo Nation. “The small aircraft was enroute to pick up a patient from a nearby hospital, when the crash occurred,” Navajo Nation Police said in a social media statement. The incident occurred about 12:40 p.m.

“NTSB investigators are en route to the scene (and) expected to start arriving tonight,” the NTSB told CNN. Once on site, the investigators will begin the process of documenting the scene and examining the aircraft. The aircraft will then be recovered to a secure facility for further evaluation.” The plane appears to have been largely consumed by a post-crash fire.
