The content and contributors on Avbrief continue to impress and exceed expectations.
Thanks Larry & the rest of the crew, you are hitting the mark!
Great news! I am really happy to see AvBrief grow so quickly into a premier product with great content from real people.
Fantastic idea. While I have Pilot Workshop IFR monthly series, having this will be a great addition. Keep up the good fight!
I am looking forward to “The Instrument Aviator”. I was very disappointed when “Flying” bought “IFR Magazine” and then canceled it. Those guys had a lot of good insight. I teach a monthly IMC Club class and am always looking for material to discuss.
I’m so happy to see this happening. I’m especially glad that Elaine has a regular place to share her insights and teaching. I’ve appreciated her writing in IFR Magazine over the years and was especially sad that her column ended when the ownership change was made. Thanks to all for keeping a place for excellent aviation education!
YES!!! I am so glad to see this. I miss IFR Magazine so much. (and Aviation Consumer, too!). I miss taking both outside and reading them cover to cover on the patio. I’m not that old, but miss reading it on paper. Reading on the computer feels like work. I’m going to try printing it out to make it “fun reading”.
I’ve tried to keep up with Sporty’s IFR Focus, as there are some great aviation writers there, but it just keeps accumulating in my email in box along with other lower priority stuff.
I’m glad y’all are up and running (again) . Now get Paul Bertorelli back to work and everything will be back to normal. bk
All the new content is great! But, too many podcasts for me. I don’t carry my earphones around so I can’t listen to it anywhere. Whereas I CAN read anywhere, which is more time than I spend in the car, where podcasts do well. Also I tend to retain information better when I read it than listen to it.
If you’re so intent on podcasts, could you also make a readable article with a few pictures for those of us who like to read?
Great News. It’s essential to have a focal point for instrument pilot information/continuing education. I can’t think of anyone better than you & Elaine. If you rope Frank back in, “you guys” will be buying out “FLYING” Good going and best wishes.
Content is great of course, but love the B-roll into and around HFD. Just watch the videos of landing before the threshold….sorry, the old instructor couldn’t help himself.
Not us flying that drop-short B roll—we plant em on the numbers every time. That short landing isn’t Hartford—looks like Orange, MA
It was probably Orange..it was other shots of the approach to 2 at HFD, and on the ramp, good stuff! Elaine’s piece was a good teaser for what’s to come. Sigh, and I do miss the paper mag.
This is great news. Looking forward to The Instrument Aviator. My CFI was a big fan of the IFR Magazine, and I think this will be a great addiiton.
