Instrument Ratings: The Cirrus Way

Cirrus has stepped up its approach to training in recent years and the proof is in the generally good safety record. Now it has a Cirrus-specific instrument rating course that puts a sharp focus on the advanced avionics in these airplanes, plus a customized approach to the way the pilots fly their SR20 and SR22 models. To learn more about the curriculum, which is carried out by Cirrus certified training centers and approved instructors, Larry Anglisano sat down with Eamonn Powers, Cirrus’ director of training development, in episode 6 of the Smart Aviator Podcast.
