Hartzell Propeller announced this week it has launched a strategic partnership with maintenance provider The Blackhawk Group that will “support its propellers across The Blackhawk Group’s network of Performance Centers.” The alliance also includes supplying Blackhawk with Hartzell’s Top Prop propellers as well as providing maintenance and overhaul service through Hartzell’s eight service centers.
Those centers are located in Piqua and Tiffin, Ohio; Redding, California; Pearland, Texas; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Erie, Colorado; Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and Biggleswade, U.K.
Benefits for aircraft operators include guaranteed lead times, flat-rate pricing, streamlined overhaul processes, and the Hartzell two-year/2,000-hour warranty, along with access to exchange and rental units within the Hartzell network, according to the company.
