Last year at Sun ’n Fun, Pure Medical adapted a portable Inogen Oxygen Generator so that it could reliably and safely provide oxygen for two people at flight levels. Instead of hauling heavy oxygen cylinders up to altitude, a pilot could simply generate all of the supplemental oxygen needed from ambient air, even at altitude.
The new unit was the Inogen Rove 6, and it could supply a single pilot with sufficient oxygen up to 18,000 feet MSL. It also had the capacity to supply two persons up to 17,500 feet MSL.
This year, Pure has rolled out a higher-capacity in-flight oxygen generator, capable of supplying up to four persons. The new higher-capacity unit, the Altitude One Pilot, can supply one person with sufficient oxygen up to 24,000 feet MSL and four persons up to 15,000 feet MSL. Surprisingly, the higher-capacity Altitude One weighs only ounces more and costs only $100 more than the Rove 6. The unit includes a charger, carrying case, four cannulas, a four-way splitter, and a pulse oximeter.

I would like to know if this newer system can run on 28v input. The Rove 6, great as it is, requires a 28-12v transformer, which does not seem to provide enough power for the higher O2 delivery settings in my Baron.
