Dashcam Video Shows Narrow Escape in Skyraider II Crash Landing

That forced landing by an Air Force Skyraider II attack plane in Oklahoma last Thursday could have been a lot worse as evidenced by dashcam video that emerged Sunday. An unidentified man told KOCO in Oklahoma City he was “just driving down the road” when the modified Air Tractor 802 very nearly hit his vehicle. A Hail Mary swerve to the left by the driver likely avoided the collision. No one was hurt in the crash landing.

And it looked like the pilots were milking the last bit of energy to get it across the road to the field. So glad everyone is safe.
