Daher Restructures Governance

Daher has restructured its executive suite in the wake of the pending departure of longtime CEO Didier Kayat. In a news release Tuesday the company, which makes the popular TBM high-performance single turboprop and the Kodiak backcountry utility aircraft, said Thibault Scaramanga has been appointed as chair of the board of directors and will also serve as interim CEO until a replacement for Kayat is selected. In addition to a CEO, the new organizational structure includes an Executive Deputy CEO. The restructuring is part of a plan announced last year designed to revitalize the company with new talent while maintaining the continuity with some familiar hands.

“The future CEO, whose recruitment currently is underway, will bring experience and a fresh perspective to the company,” the news release said. “Aymeric Daher, previously the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, has been appointed Executive Deputy CEO, effective March 31.” The company acknowledged Kayat’s 20 years of service with the company, the last 10 as CEO. “Under Kayat’s leadership, the Daher Group underwent a profound transformation, strengthened its international presence—particularly through the expansion of all its activities across the Americas— and achieved sustained growth, with revenue reaching €1.9 billion in 2025,” the release said.
