Citation Ascend Enters Service

Textron has delivered the first Citation Ascend on Tuesday, marking its entry into service in 2025 with a day to spare. An undisclosed customer picked up the midsized bizjet, which is the latest version of the Citation 560XL. The latest iteration includes a new G5000 cockpit, flat floor cabin, and improved sound insulation that gives it the same airborne sound level as a car driving on the highway. It was introduced in 2023 and certified in November. The plane will carry up to 12 passengers and has a four-passenger range of 1,940 nautical miles.
