Aspen Avionics Engine Instrument Display

Aspen Avionics says it’s close to FAA certification of its Evolution Engine Instruments interface for the Evolution MAX MFD. It’s a primary replacement for OEM engine and fuel gauges and uses the Electronics International EDC-33P converter and sensors for overlaying the engine and fuel data on the Aspen MAX. AvBrief’s Larry Anglisano spent some time at the Aspen booth at the 79th annual Aircraft Electronics Association convention and trade show in Dallas, Texas, and recorded this demo with Aspen’s Michael Studley.

This is a good display. I imagine it could display on exisMFD units.

Seriously? That really sucks.
I used to be an Aspen dealer and groove frustrated at the very high failure rate. I found Aspen to be a difficult company with which to work and I’m disappointed to see your explanation today since there are thousands of Aspen units now with which this new system will not work

What happens when Aspen dumps its present version? Why does it do this?
Aspen is not our friend!
